Burnham-on-Sea
Starlight Dance & Musical Theatre School Burnham is our newest acquisition to the Starlight Portfolio. The studio had been previously well established in the town and became part of the Starlight group in September 2023.
Historically the school focused on technical dancing such as Ballet & Tap however since becoming Starlight we have introduced a variety of classes including our show team classes, Musical Theatre and Circus Skills.
The school has undergone a huge change and has grown massively in recent months, adding Circus Skills and Acro to the timetable. We continue to hope to see more growth, more shows and many more opportunities in the future.

Lilly Armitage RAD RTS, DDMIX
Principal
Lilly has been principal of Starlight Dance and Musical Theatre School Burnham on Sea since 2023. Lilly now teaches Show Team Classes, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Acro and Ballet. Lilly holds a full RAD RTS status and has a 100% exam pass rate. Lilly has a passion for all things fun, imaginative, creative and inclusive whilst enjoying adding technique, strength, knowledge and understanding into the Starlight BoS classes. Lilly is a DDMIX instructor and involves these skills when teaching adult classes whilst using a nurturing environment for our smallest of dancers. With the school flourishing and the joy of dance being brought to so many, she cannot wait to see how this little seaside town school grows and goes from strength to strength.
Haylee Edwards
Teacher
Haylee has been dancing since the age of two, performed on stage for the first time at 4 years old, and hasn't stopped since! In 2001, at eighteen years old, a fortunate turn of events led her into the world of circus, in which she trained under the wing of former Cirque de Soleil artist Jackie Welbourne, specialising in traditional aerial arts. She has now been working professionally as an aerialist and dancer for the last twenty years, picking up a passion and skill for rigging and designing bespoke aerial creations along the way. Haylee has been teaching at Starlight since 2023, and continues to perform in shows and events alongside, most recently, achieving a lifelong dream of appearing in 'Cats!' alongside a hugely talented cast with Bridgwater Operatic Society.
Victoria Kaye
Teacher
Victoria teaches the Adult Tap class at Starlight Dance & Musical Theatre School Burnham-on-Sea and has passion and focus for teaching Pilates. She has been teaching Tap dance for over 20 years and is qualified with the ISTD. Victoria has entered many students into exams over the years with 100% pass rate and produced local shows. Victoria is also a Level 3 Matwork Pilates Instructor, a Trigger Point Pilates Instructor and Holistic Core Restore Coach. Victoria specialises in Post Natal Pilates and Pelvic Floor Health and is committed to helping women's body's recover after having a baby. Victoria holds all her Pilates classes at our Starlight Dance & Musical Theatre School in Burnham-on-Sea.
Poppy Dinham
Front of House
Poppy Dinham is our Starlight Burnham-on-Sea Front of House, helping behind the scenes on a day to day basis with all administrative functions. Poppy has been dancing since a young child and loves participating in Tap, Ballet, Acro and Show Team classes, with her most recent role being the Sugar Plum in Nutcracker a Rat Queen's Tail 2024. Poppy is also a student teacher with our younger Starlighters.
